After many Zoom classes, our Entre Amigos youth group was finally able to gather for an in-person Youth Pop Up in Sacramento and what better way to do it than with a paint day at the park! Youth got to participate in team-building activities, get creative on a canvas, and be in community with one another for the first time since our group began in August of last year.
The past year has taught us the importance of continuously engaging youth in safe environments that builds up their mental wellness. Because of that, the Latino Leadership Council will continue to integrate youth activities in both Sacramento and Placer Counties.
